Oriflame Beauty studio Artist Cream Blushes are not marketed as long lasting but according to me they are , they lasted a entire day on me , especially in this summer . I applied them over the Oriflame Perfecting Face Primer which I guess added to their longevity .Price wise they are amazing , especially for the amount of product you get . It will last you a long time .Also bare in mind a little goes a long way and I would recommend to go light handed first ansd slowly build .

Last but never the least .I like the packaging as I have sensitive and acne prone skin , i hate pot blushes as they are not hygienic at all. On the same lines this did not break me out at all .

My take!

I have oily to combination skin , so primers for me is a must . I do have some dry patches too . Primer helps create a smooth surface for foundation . Primer act as a base for your foundation / makeup , and also a barrier between your skin and foundation . I always used those silicony based primers which work ok ,but I have herd so much about the Oriflame Beauty Perfecting Face Primer within the beautyblogger community I needed to try this out .

The Oriflame Beauty Perfecting Face Primer is moisturizing / hydrating cream for your face . It is a primer which will hydrate your skin and help hold your makeup in place for a long time. Let me tell you what is so fascination about this primer is that , it leaves your skin looking matt . When you apply it initially your skin feels hydrated and then after it sets it mattyfies your skin !

I put the Oriflame Beauty Perfecting Face Primer to the test this week because it is my best friends wedding . Yes it is hot and summery . I wore this every single day and it made my make up last all night .

My makeup didn't go blotchy or slip and slide of my face .

I used the Oriflame Beauty Perfecting Face Primer as a eye primer too , and my eye shadow didn't budge or crease up .

As you all know that I am a brush junkie . I absolutely love trying out new brushes from various companies . Oriflame is a well know company , and has a massive brush range . They have an impressive selection of brushes for every step of your makeup . Oriflame Professional Brushes are made of Goat hair bristles or Nylon, with a aluminium and wooden handle. Which makes them very light and easy to handle . I did wash the brushes before using it and to my pleasure they all held their shape very well and did not shed at all .

Professional Powder Brush :

A large paddle-shaped brush featuring a fluffed, rounded tip. This brush is specially designed to provide flawless application of powder to face or body.

My Take :

The second end of the Professional double - ended eyeshadow brush is a sponge tip applicator . It is good to pack on pigment .I use it to apply pigmented eyeshadows .

My Take !

This is the magic brush that basically blew my mind . If you want to smokey out eyeshadow or blend like a artist the Professional Blending Brush will be your best friend . Honestly you cant have enough blending brushes in my opinion . It is soft and stiff at the root , which makes it precise .

Professional Concealer/Lip Brush:

This firm, flat, slightly tapered brush is specially styled for small-area coverage and precise application. Perfect for defining lip contours or applying concealer. Materials: Nylon, Aluminium, Wood.

My Take :

This is a concealer and a lip brush , but I liked the foundation brush so much for concealer because of its tapered end . I instead used this for pigments . It is stiff and flat , also made with nylon bristles which makes it so easy for applying strong pigments and chunky glitter .

I used the lip brush for the more powdery pigments and also for precision application .I never use a lip brush but this is great for eyes .

Miners Maxi Mascara Waterproof

I don't think a girl can have enough mascara for a lifetime. My latest addition is Miners maxi mascara. Its a waterproof mascara and from experience I have a love hate relationship with them. This one though I love !

The packaging is beautiful. I love the blue color and it is pretty sturdy. The tube is a full size tube so it will last you a good time.

The mascara itself is nice thick formula it definitely helps for those of us who have thin lashes. It is one of those mascaras that can make your lashes look like false lashes, for real !

The brush as you can see is a simple brush but don't underestimate the power of this mascara. Miners mascara definitely is worth the money and you will be left impressed. I wore it for a workout and must say dint smudge at all. It also is easily removable with the use of a light moisturizer, no need to tug at your lashes or use special removers.

Miners Cosmetics Lipstick - Wonderland

My third installment in the Miners cosmetics review is the Miners Matte effect lipstick in Wonderland. Its a beautiful texture that's matte but not drying on the lips

The lipstick comes in a black lid and transparent bottom that allows you to see the color. I find this very convenient as I dont have to open the lid to see the color

Once you open the lipstick you can see the vibrant coral pink peeking at you. Its a gorgeous color that suits any skin tone. Its a pretty coral. We can have a closer look now.

The lipstick is a gorgeous pink / orange coral. Its a great spring summer color as it adds that perfect pop of color. Plus a girl can never have enough of coral lipsticks.

Wonderland is a pigmented lipstick, the above swatch is only one swipe. There is no sheen to it but it definitely is not a drying formula. I would be comfortable to wear this without a lip balm.

People who know me , understand my obssesion with highlighters . If I get an opportunity to buy one I will get it. I recently discovered Benefit and I fell in love with the brand as every product I have tried has proved to be amazing. Benefit High Beam is no exception. Benefit High Beam has the perfect amount of shine and glow without being glittery.

I love the natural glow that this products creates, it's lovely. I use it on my brow bone and cheeks. I love the effect the Benefit High Beam gives me . I look more youth full and glowing. The bottle is cute and it really lasts.The applicator is similar to a nail polish .High beam gives me the look that I want: dewy and fresh.The best highlighter I've ever used! I use it with my fingers or a Real techniques Pointed Foundation Brush .You can apply it over foundation or mix it in your foundation any which way works .The Benefit High Beam works great on liquid foundations when compared to powdered.

It is the perfect shade of highlight for my Medium fair complexion . It lasts really long , I have oily to combination skin and it didn't make me oily of greasy .

The Benefit High Beam is pricey but as I mentioned before it will last you a long time . And if you have any cheaper dupes let me know in the comments down below . I would love to know your favourite highlighters .

Miners Nail Varnish - Jezebel

The first thing you notice when you see the Miners Nail Varnish is the size. It is quite the generous bottle. The packaging is beautiful, its very sturdy and high quality just like all the products from Miners.

The shade is a beautiful pink. Its bright but not really neon so its great for a casual pop of color. The nail varnish itself is tall and simple its can fit easily in your purse for a touch-up and trust me it wont spill!

The brush isn't too small or too big. I have petite nails and it fit perfectly for my nails otherwise I usually suffer from having the brush being big and the nail polish being all over my nail follicle.

The color is pretty pigmented the swatch above is only one coat of the nail polish and as you can see its quite vibrant. I am 100 % satisfied with this nail varnish and would recommend it to anyone.

Miners Cosmetics - Fresh Faced Powder

Since the first time I saw Miners Cosmetics I was in love. This affair first began with the Miners Tin O Tints in Mango. I absolutly fell in love with everything, the pigment, the packaging and the price. So I took this further. Miners fresh faced powder delivered on all my expectations.

The powder is paraben free and comes in a cute packaging. Its pretty sturdy and lightweight. It will easily fit in your purse. Its affordable and for the price you get a good amount of product.

The formula is really soft and not cakey. It has build-able coverage, which means you can have a light dusting for a casual day time look or you can go all out for a full coverage party look.

As you can see its a pretty pigmented powder. This way I fell like I can use just a little in order to cover my flaws rather than caking it on. This can be used as a touch up powder over your foundation or BB cream/ tinted moisturizer.

The color looks a little light for my skin tone but I am kind of in between shades but from the swatch you can tell that the powder is pretty pigmented. Overall I love the product.

This has been my favourite water line kohl kajal pencil I have ever used. This is the 3^rd pencil I have purchased so far. To my shock I noticed I have never done a review on this. Shame on me ! (Face Palm )

Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal is soo smooth and soft in the waterline .It has been formulated in such a way that they are soft on the waterline.Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Waterproof has a Kohl kajal formulae means it gives the highest pigmentation possible. This also makes it a decent base for a Smokey eye or applying pigments.

Usually allot of kohl kajal pencils smudge and budge on me throughout the day , hence I try to stay away from such products . But this is so unique , I don’t know whether it is the fact that it is waterproof or what it does not budge at all . It has a stay power of a gel Liner . The consistency is like Mac Paint pot put into a pencil .But for half the price.

It is the blackest Black I have ever seen in a pencil . With a stay power of a good 10 hours , what else do you want from an Kohl Kajal Pencil . The London Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal is great for people who have sensitive eyes or who wear contact lances , as the formulae is very soft and does not irritate the eye at all .

The London Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal come in a range of other fun colours too . Which are so fun for the spring and summer . They also have a Nude pencil which helps to make your eyes look bigger , brighter and more awake . Rimmel London has a amazing line of Eye pencils which you all should definitely check out .

Hair Care Routine

The summers are here , scorching heat and super humid weather means its time to switch your hair care routine up a bit .It is very necessary to change your hair products once a while , to avoid getting your hair used to one routine . If not you will notice your hair falling flat and loosing its shine and health . In the summers I dont use a deep conditioner treatment just because It makes my hair supper oily for days and greasy looking . But if you have fine hair I would recommend a natural deep conditioner treatment (Natural Hair mask )

Shampoo &Conditioner :

Its been Over 4 weeks since I have used the Garnier Long and strong shampoo and Conditioner duo . This was initially sent to me as part of a Blind Test .I have been Loving the Product , they has been no denying that . I've used tons of other products, promising that they would tame frizz, soften hair, moisturise it, de-tangle my hair. They never worked and led to bad investments. But for once I feel that I have found my match, a shampoo that is promising.Garnier Long and Strong Hair shampoo in the first wash left my hair squeaky clean. Clarifying shampoos help to reveal the natural shine and takes your hair to a place it’s never been before.You can follow up with the Garnier Long and Strong luxurious conditioner. I have used these products for years , so much that I have stalked up on these two wonders - Garnier Fructis Nutri -Repair and Garnier Fructis 3 Oil therapy . I switch between them all the time . I cannot live without leave in conditioners . They help de-tangle my hair , avoiding breakage and split ends .After using the Garnier Fructis 3 Oil Therapy Nourishing Cream for the first time , My hair looked so healthy and felt so soft.Mind you I have thick coarse frizzy hair , and my hair type is semi straight and wavy . I was on a look out for a good heat protector / styling Serum , the FX Straight&Shine is the perfect product I found so far . It is made with Morrocan Oil or also known as Argan oil . It is a serum that helps avoid frizz, mends Split ends and gives brilliant shine . It doesnot weigh you hair down at all , or leave it looking greasy at all . I have used this before blow drying , curling and straightening my hair . I leaves my hair looking so shiny and healthy , also helps my curls and waves last longer . It will take me a life time to talk about my all my hair tools - curlers , tongs and straighteners .So to keep things short this is my most used - loved hair tool the beloved blowdryer . It is by Torlen Proffessionals Torlen TOR 179 Hair Dryer. It is the best on the market . Allot of the hair salons use this particular hair dryer . I absolutely love it , It has two heat settings , with a cool air button too . It makes my hair shiny without making it frizzy . I received the Avene - Re-Balancing Soothing Emulsion product as a part of my Envy Box . I kept the sample in my hand bag , used it all up hence went ahead and bought the full size . I have been using the Avene - Re-Balancing Soothing Emulsion for nearly 4 months now . I used it on my Holiday to Middle east in the chilly December winters . I continued using it after I came back to India . The finest feature I like about the Re-Balancing Soothing Emulsion is the way it leaves my skin feeling so soft and hydrated in any weather. Its like the outside climate conditions does not effect my skin at all .

The product feels very light and after massaging it into my skin if feels like I have not applied anything. At the same time leave my skin so soft, hydrated and glowing .I used the Re-Balancing Soothing Emulsion as a moisturiser and a primer , both ways it works wonders .

I have sensitive - oily acne prone skin and in the past I have used Avene products before and they are very good, specifically for people who have acne or any other skin related problems . They are also Paraben- Free which is plus for me .

My final Update - its been Over 4 weeks since I have used the Love Long Hair shampoo and Conditioner duo . This was initially sent to me as part of a Blind Test .I have been Loving the Product , they has been no denying that .
It lathers up so well , and the smell has grown on to me . I have barely dented the shampoo and conditioner bottle , considering I have been using it for 4 weeks . It would probably last me another month . Also as I mentioned I have really long hair .
Texture wise I feel my hair has become healthier , and more soft . The conditioner replenishes my hair with the vital nutrients and Oils that my hair looses after shampoo. I use the Love Long Hair conditioner twice a week and its lite yet nourishing .

Now knowing what I was using makes me like this Duo even More ! . Im a lover of the Garnier Fructis Leave In conditioners and their hair care line .Now thinking about it again , I feel the smell should have hinted me it was a Garnier Product . Because all the Garnier Fructis Hair Line smells out of this world . All in all I would repurchase this , and I do feel it is a great clarifying shampoo , moisturising conditioner which is perfect and would help hair growth allot. Also all garnier Hair products are pretty affordable which is always a plus for me .

If you are a watch person , add some neutral toned watch and a pink ring . This way the Pink plays Peek-a-boo in you entire look . Finally complete the entire look with a Nudey Pink shade by Maybelline Baby Lips Loves Color in Cherry Kiss .

Its been Over 2 weeks since I have used the Love Long Hair shampoo and Conditioner duo . This was initially sent to me as part of a Blind Test . We often Beauty Bloggers are asked to do such tests . My opinion has not changed much . I have been liking it even more .

Lately the weather in Hyderabad has changed dramatically , temperatures are getting low , its raining and strong winds . I have been putting this duo on the test during the extreme weather changes . Let me tell you my hair hasn't felt any cleaner and smoother ever . I have used allot of shampoos , for different weather conditions; to combat my dry hair in the winters and clarifying shampoos during the summers , this seems to work its wonders during both .

For those who don't know about the Love Long Hair shampoo and conditioner it helps to gently cleanse and moisturize hair while controlling frizz. It is promoted to help hair grow long at the same time maintain its health and shine .

The main feature that makes the Love Long Hair shampoo and conditioner duo different when compared to others is that , this deep cleans my hair and also moisture's it at the same time . This Conditioner is so smooth and Milky which aims to replenish the moisture back in my hair . Leaving it shiny , bouncy and healthy after every wash . This plays a major role in keeping your hair healthy to promote its growth .

In terms of length I dint see a major difference . Also since I have long hair , it helps me maintain it and keep it frizz free .

Lastly I love the simple packaging . Its so sleek which I totally appretiate . I dislike shampoos and conditioners to have glass or other packaging because it will just get ruined in the shower because of the water and steam.

One of the finest textures I have ever used , or Maybelline has to offer . I herd to rave about the Maybelline Lip Polish as soon as it was launched in the US . Now I have finally gotten my hands on them . They are a liptick / Lip gloss crossover . It is pigmented as a lipstick and moisturizing as a lip gloss .

Lets just take a moment to talk about the packaging which Im totally in love with . I would use the Maybelline Lip Polish on a daily basis to add some Pink to my day , Totally made for the girl next door who goes to college look .

I have really large open pore and with a mixture of oily skin ,is a formula for Black heads and white heads . I herd allot about the Biore pore strips . As they are not accessible in India and I was in the middle east I thought to give it a try . It claims to pull out even more dirt and oil for the deepest clean.

The biore deep cleansing pore strips are enriched with invigorating tea tree oil and witch hazel . Each pack contains 9 strips . The Biore strips are unlike any other blackhead removing strips, they feel lighter , thinner and they have slits in them to provide you a proper fit . This undoubtedly could be the reason why they have better effects when compared to others .

First remove the strip from the packaging, twist the strip to separate and loosen the slits .Wash your face and wet your nose . Remove the plastic adhesive from the strip. Apply the smooth side to your face, and press firmly to remove any air bubbles. Press down with dry hands to ensure full contact to the skin.

I left it for 10 minutes and peel it according to the instructions given. I was stunned by the amount of dirt , blackheads and white heads that were clogging my pore . After I used the Biore strip I did follow it up with toner .

Im very satisfied with the Biore Deep cleansing pore strips, and it’s sad that it’s not available in India . I need to stock up these incredible cleansing strips . Now I know all the rave surrounding this product .Price wise it is not pocket friendly , but I don’t mind investing in skin care , as I have talk about before .

Im a person who prefers concealer over foundation . I would rather correct my imperfection by concealer rather than slapping on foundation and covering my entire face . This way you look more natural and young . I suffer with alot of redness on my cheeks and around my nose . Also because I'm Arab I have really pink cheeks . When I tend to apply foundation it makes me look yellow or orange , regardless of the shade.

Mac Studio finish concealer is a moisturizing high coverage concealer which a lot of people rave about . I wanted a concealer to cover my redness around my nose and also correct my dark circles .The Mac studio Finish concealer in NC42 has yellow and peach undertones which will correct and redness and purple tones in your skin.

The Mac studio Finish concealer stays on all day , doesnot crease at all . It is hydrating and moisturizing as it will cling on to your skin and also hydrate it all day .The color range of the Mac studio finish concealers are enormous , you can find more cooler tones or warm tones depending on your skin tone.

Often alot of makeup artists use this as a highlighter - under the brow , around the lips (red lips / dark lips ) and other places where they want the light to catch . I did give it a try and it does give a very natural conture and dimension to your face without looking made up .Although my shade NC42 perfectly matches me , when you are planning to use this as a highlight I would recommend you to go for a shade or two lighter .

It is on the pricey side but to be honest you need only a tiny bit , and this pot will last you for years . I have been using this for almost a year and still not hit pan .It is by far the most famous concealer used by makeup artists and I guess by now you will know why .

This was the last thing I purchased from Mikyajy on my recent trip to the middle east . I was eyeing this Jungle palette online as it was a perfect gift for my lovely cousins . Groovy Compacts have come out with a new range of Makeup compacts for the girl on the go , in other words Travel friendly . I have owned , used and surely shown some love to my previous groovy palettes before and the pigmentation is amazing and in-beatable especially for their price .The eyeshadow can be used wet or dry and they have out of this world pigmentation.

I also wanted to buy something that will be travel friendly for me so I decided to get one for myself . To be honest I couldn't pass the amazing packaging too .It is so practically designed providing a clear division between powder and cream products , as it annoys me when the powder of the eye shadows ends up on creamy lipsticks .It keeps the products sanitised also when they are separate .

The Jungle fever palette is created around earthy tones which compliment Indian skin tones and brown eyes . The first compartment houses 7 highly pigmented shimmery shadows . They have a range of bronzey - gold, red tones with a pop of colour which is green .You can create a smokey eye and a neutral look with this palette. It also has a massive mirror .

The second compartment has 7 creamy Lip colours . The Jungle fever is inspired by the jungle and hence it has a range of chocolaty , red tones with a few corals to compliment every occasion .

The last compartment in the Jungle Fever Groovy compact has 2 blushes both are matte , one more coral toned and the other more brownish .It also contains one lip brush , dual ended sponge applicator and a blush brush

Over all I find this a bargain deal , with quality product and design . It is the perfect travel product for a beauty lover , also doubles up as a great gift for your fellow beauty lovers and enthusiasts . It also perfect for anyone who is starting out , and wants to try quality products this is the perfect palette to begin .
